Motor
Skills: balance, eye and hand co-ordination, agility.
Social
Skills: children interact with friends as well as strangers
in a unique way – they negotiate their way around the
structure, taking turns, chasing and being chased.
Spatial
Awareness – the children have to work out where they are in
relation to others and how to get from A to B.
Confidence
Levels: children challenge themselves to attempt activities
that they may not have otherwise done and this improves
their self-esteem and a “can do” attitude.
Creativity:
through the unstructured play and our “paint pot” section
children are able to express their creative side without
being judged and criticised.
